Does Your Dentist Really Know You?

To truly be effective, your dentist should be thought of as a trusted friend. Does your dentist really take the time to get to know you and your family? Forty years ago, doctors were able to take the time to be close to their patients. They knew your mom and dad, and could talk to you about your life and family. It seems that those days are long gone. These days, medical and dental practices are more like factories and we are often treated like a number, not a person.
This will never happen in my dental practice!

I have always believed that as a health care provider, I have a wonderful opportunity to get to know my patients. I always think of the days when I was a child and our beloved family physician would come to my house if I was sick. We ALWAYS take the time to talk to our patients at every visit. I personally spend an average of an hour and a half with every adult (less time is necessary for children and we love to treat kids!) that enters our practice as a new patient. It may seem like a long time, but I am able to learn everything about you that affects your dental health. Don't forget that your mouth is a  'door' into the rest of your body. If you have any dental problems, gum disease, inflammation or even minor issues, there will be damaging affects to your overall health.

Our doors are open for anyone interested in finding the right path to excellent dental health. Call us, make an appointment or just stop in and say "hi!" You'll see very quickly that we are DIFFERENT from any other dental practice you have ever encountered.
